Product Development Associate

Remote Full-Time Fixed Monthly Salary

Prime Shelf Space is growing, and we're expanding the team behind the brands we represent.

We're looking for a hands-on Product Development Associate to help bring new products to life across our portfolio. You'll work directly with suppliers, labs, and our brand teams — supporting formulation, sourcing, packaging, and launch from concept to shelf.

This is a full-time remote role for someone who loves the details of product creation and wants to build real CPG experience across multiple brands.

What you'll do

  • Support formulation, sampling, and development of new SKUs across the portfolio
  • Source and coordinate with suppliers, co-packers, and labs for ingredients and packaging
  • Manage product specifications, cost sheets, and timeline tracking from concept to launch
  • Coordinate packaging design, label compliance, and regulatory documentation
  • Run competitive research and identify white-space opportunities in each category
  • Assist with quality checks, shelf-life testing, and product stability protocols
  • Keep product development documentation organized through our project tools
  • Collaborate with brand, operations, and retail teams to align launches with go-to-market plans

Compensation

Fixed Monthly SalaryFull-time, salaried position

This is a stable, full-time remote role with a consistent monthly salary and room to grow as our product pipeline expands.

Who we're looking for

  • 1–3 years of experience in product development, CPG, food & beverage, or supply chain
  • Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple products at once
  • Clear, professional communication with suppliers and internal teams
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, spec sheets, and cost models
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with formulation, packaging, or co-manufacturing is a plus
