QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Remote Full-Time Fixed Monthly Salary

We're looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality of our products across web and mobile. You'll own manual testing efforts, contribute to automation initiatives, and help us leverage AI tools to test smarter and faster.

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and mobile applications, covering functional, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Test core product workflows end-to-end, including transactional/business flows (e.g., checkout, payments, invoicing, order or record management)
  • Perform mobile testing across iOS and Android (native and/or responsive web), including device/OS fragmentation checks
  • Conduct performance testing - measure and analyze page load times, and run stress/load tests to identify bottlenecks and breaking points
  • Write clear, reproducible bug reports and work closely with developers to resolve issues
  • Contribute to and maintain automated test scripts (UI and/or API level)
  • Explore and apply AI-powered testing tools to improve test coverage, speed, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria
  • Participate in release testing and sign-off before deployments

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in QA/software testing
  • Experience testing transactional or business-critical web applications (ecommerce experience is a strong plus)
  • Experience testing mobile apps or mobile web (Android/iOS)
  • Good knowledge of test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium) - hands-on scripting experience is a plus
  • Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, or similar) for measuring page load times and running stress tests
  • Genuine interest in using AI tools to improve testing workflows (test case generation, bug triage, exploratory testing assistance, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and QA best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and clear written communication for bug reporting
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with API testing (Postman, RESTAssured)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into them
  • Exposure to accessibility testing
